Step 5: Cleaning and Sanitizing

Once all of the water has been extracted and the drying equipment has done its job, the fifth step in SERVPRO’s water restoration process is cleaning/sanitizing the impacted area(s). During this step contents are assessed to determine what can be saved or restored, and what which items or materials are more cost effective to replace. Odors are removed using deodorization equipment like air scrubbers, ozone machines and other HEPA filtration devices. As terms dictate, the entire affected area can be treated and sanitized using professional cleaning products like Sporicidin Disinfectant Solution. SERVPRO of Marietta West is ready for any size disaster thrown our way!
